I earned my bachelor's degree in English from the University of Notre Dame. I continued my education at Columbia University, where I earned my Master of Business Administration in Marketing. At present, I work as a copywriter and creative consultant. I develop content for clients like MTV, PBS, the Disney Channel, and the Discovery Channel. I also spent five years as an English and creative writing teacher in private schools for 7th-12th grade students.I'm passionate about literature and writing, and I enjoy helping students increase their analytical and organizational skills when writing. I enjoy helping my students shape and craft their writing, and my professional experience gives me a knack for incorporating pop culture references, humor, and life experiences to help students communicate in a more personal and meaningful way. I can tutor students in American history, European history, American literature, British literature, reading, writing, editing, and social studies. I am a great resource for students writing their college application essays, and can also help them prepare for standardized tests like the GMAT, GRE, SAT, and SSAT. When I'm not tutoring, I enjoy playing the guitar, hiking, and a great game of tennis.
