Why do I tutor? I tutor because I love learning and I want to help others learn as well. Learn not just disparate facts or arbitrary knowledge, however. I want to truly invest my students in the world of whatever field is being studied, whether it be the algorithmic nature of computation in computer science, the abstract world of mathematics, or the multidisciplinary digital medium of video game development. My approach is to prioritize understanding of fundamental concepts to create a strong learning foundation. My work experience: I have 2 years of work experience tutoring children K-8 in STEM subjects, primarily math, computer programming, and video game development. I also have an additional 2 years instructing Taekwondo to similarly-aged children. Test Scores: ACT - 34/36 AP Calculus BC - 5 AP Physics - 5
